Stay Plan: 6 Nights/7 Days

 

Day 1 Arrive on Cochin Drive to Munnar

You have greeted on arrival at Cochin International Airport /Railway station by a Munnar Holidays representative and thereafter depart for Munnar (130 km / 04 hrs) enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvellous waterfalls, and the high mountains with the low-flying clouds passing by. Arrive in Munnar and check in at the hotel. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 02: Munnar Day Tour

The morning after breakfast proceeds for sightseeing in Munnar which includes a visit to the flower garden and an elephant safari, before driving on to the scenic Mattupetty dam, Eco- point and Kundala dam areas. At Kundala dam there is an opportunity to enjoy boating on the lake. Finally, we drive through a vegetable growing area to Top station which is situated high in the mountains on the border between Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady

After a cheerful breakfast at the hotel drive to Periyar (Thekkady). See the copious nature beauty, appealing mountain streams, spice plantations etc on the way. On arrival at Periyar, check in at your hotel. Freshen up and relax. Have a boat cruise over Periyar Lake and explore Periyar wildlife sanctuary. See diverse species of birds and animals making amazing moves while monkeys show their tricks to grab your attention. Overnight will be at Thekkady.

Day 04: Thekkady to Alleppey

After breakfast Check out your resort and drive to Alleppey; also known as Venice of the east by its special geographical features as the place is famous for its vast backwater stretches and paddy fields. Overnight stay at Alleppey.

 

Day 05: Alleppey – Kovalam (190Kms 05Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Kovalam. On arrival check in to the Resort. Evening free to relax at the Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 06: Trivandrum Sightseeing

After breakfast, you can go sightseeing in Trivandrum [The Capital of Kerala]. Here you can see the 260-year-old Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, which covers an area of 2400 sq Km, Puthan Maliga Palace Museum [200-year-old Palace of the Travancore Maharaja’s], Napier Museum [Which has an electric display of bronzes, Zoo, temple carts, Ivory carvings etc..] and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Evening free to relax at the Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 06: Trivandrum Sightseeing

After breakfast, you can go sightseeing in Trivandrum [The Capital of Kerala]. Here you can see the 260-year-old Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, covers an area of 2400 sq Km, Puthan Maliga Palace Museum [200-year-old Palace of the Travancore Maharaja’s], Napier Museum [Which has an electric display of bronzes, Zoo, temple carts, Ivory carvings etc..] and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Evening free to relax at the Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam

Day 07: Kovalam – Trivandrum Departure

Take your breakfast and then a Munnar Holidays representative will transfer you to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station in time to board flight for your next destination.
